CAF offers short classes on diverse aspects of architecture and city design to encourage people to appreciate Chicago's architecture and built environment. Subjects range from the topical to the historical, from aesthetics to science. Formats include lectures, tours, seminars, and workshops, all led by design professionals and academics. Global Explorers Kids is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing children with the opportunity to explore the diversity of the world’s peoples and helping them to understand and respect different cultures, using the arts as a catalyst towards learning. Global Explorers Kids offers after school programs, community programs, school and community workshops, and summer camps. Classes are offered for PreK-5th grade.

The National Hellenic Museum presents, Presidents Come and Presidents Go: Observing History through the Cartoons of Bill Papas, one of the most original political cartoonists of the 20th century. The exhibition features cartoons from the later part of Papas’ career as well as drawings from the artist’s earlier work as the chief cartoonist for the Guardian newspaper in London during the 1960s. Suggested general admission is $5 for adults and seniors, children 12 years of age and under are free.
