Frankenstone Art Center is a new arts facility on the Northwest side of Chicago located between North Park University and Northeastern University on Foster Avenue. The Contemporary Studio of Glass Art started as a dream. In 2003, we began discussing ways to share our glassblowing techniques. We then formulated a plan to create a non-profit entity that would enable us to teach anyone interested. We also hoped to feature other guest artists. The CSGA formed beginner, intermediate, and advanced curriculum to meet their students’ needs. Founded in 1910, Ox-Bow is the oldest summer school of art in the Midwest.
