The Chicago School of Woodworking LLC, uses a progressive skills based approach to teaching. Through a series of courses, students learn the fundamentals of furniture construction; from the nature of wood, through the use of hand tools, to the use of machinery. Upon completion of the series, students have the opportunity to continue their education by constructing independent projects using the school's machine shop and bench room.
